PERSONAL: Bikini Stash Summer 2015

Hi everyone! The last few days I’ve done nothing else than enjoying my holiday and I have to say I can get used to the holiday life J. What’s nice is that the weather has improved and I’m now finally able to catch a summer tan. My days consist of sleeping in, going out for a morning run (still needs to be done…) and after that lying by the pool all day. Love it!

During the preparation of my vacation, I might have become a little addicted when it comes to buying swimwear. The past few weeks I’ve expanded my bikini stash considerably and for today’s post I thought it would be fun to share it with you guys.

PERSONAL: Quick Update + New Sunglasses

Hi everyone! It’s been a while! For today’s post I just wanted to give you a quick little update. While this post has appeared on the blog and everyone around me is probably still sleeping, I’m heading to my work. I recently started working at the local bakery and today I’ve to be there at 7:30 am! So early…

Also, there is currently a real heat wave in Holland; the weather forecasts say that it will be 35 ºC today! Super nice of course but pfff… seriously way too hot to work in.

But I'll just have to keep a cool head and have to look forward to a nice cool swim in my (inflatable) pool at the end of the day…

Fortunately I can enjoy my new purchase optimal during these rare hot days in Holland. Last week I ordered my first Ray-Ban ever! It’s the Ray-Ban Round Metal 50 mm and I’m totally in love with them! For me it was surely a big investment, but it is well worth paying that price! I ordered them at smartbuyglasses.com and I’m very pleased about my experience with this shop!

Why is this blog called 'The Yellow Coat' ?

Why did I choose for this blog name? I'll explain. Late 2012, I was looking for a fall/winter coat. It was already late in the evening. My mother and I were already been in thousands of shops looking for the perfect coat and we had almost specified our courage. However, we decided to enter the H&M as last hope. And there it hung. One of my best purchases ever. It was love at first sight. The jacket was not expensive, fitted perfectly and the best: it wasn't such a standard jacket everyone else has. You see that the coat not longer looks very nice and that is not so weird. I wear it almost every day. Just because it's comfortable, has fine pockets where i can put easily my stuff in and it has such a beautiful color. I've never actually been struggling with combining this coat. I usually wear dark clothes so I don't have the problem that it won't match with the rest of my outfit. The coat is unfortunately not longer for sale. But this season, H&M has another mustard-yellow coat in the collection. This time it's a bit oversized. If you like this kind of coats I should definitely check it out.

So in short: I looked for a blog name that says a lot about me. Since you can recognize me as 'the girl in the yellow coat', which was in my opinion a bit of a long name, so it's simply become 'The Yellow Coat'.
